My name is Danielle Terease Blow and I am an Authorised Marriage Celebrant appointed by the Attorney-General’s Department. I live in the Hills District (North West of the Sydney CBD) and my profession takes me all over Sydney. I am happy to conduct ceremonies near of far on land, in the air or on the sea; being a full-time, professional Marriage Celebrant means I am available to you at any time.

I am happily married to an incredibly supportive, loving husband and have 2 beautiful children which complete my world. Not a day goes by where I do not think that I have been truly blessed to have my family, wonderful friends and good health.

I make sure I find time in my schedule to volunteer at my children’s primary school with reading programs, canteen duty (where one catches up on the gossip!), and fundraising - in May 2009, I co-ordinated a Raffle Draw, along with all prizes, which raised over $7500 for the school - an achievement that I was very proud to have been part of.

In 2009 I was elected Secretary of the newly formed Carlingford Comets Netball Club. I am looking forward to working closely with the committee to create a club that nurtures the girl's team and sporting development.

Prior to becoming a full-time Marriage Celebrant, I was a Personal Assistant to Senior Managers in high profile companies. I absolutely loved working in this area – organising and managing events, conferences and of course running the boss’ diary! The need to liaise with both my colleagues in the office and senior managers all over the world helped me to become the confident and professional speaker that I am. Managing the office (as well as the boss) enabled me to become an organised and meticulous person and these are traits that I have carried forward to my profession as a Celebrant and ones that I am proud of.

In 1999, I was appointed as a Justice of the Peace in the state of NSW and am a member of the NSW Justices’ Association Limited. As a community based JP I am available (by appointment) to certify copies of documents and administer oaths and affirmations for legal documents such as Statutory Declarations and Affidavits. I also volunteer my time as a Justice of the Peace at Parramatta Library once a month - this service is organised and run by the Cumberland Branch of the NSW Justices' Association of which I am a member.

I am also a member of the Australian Marriage Celebrants Inc. I participate each year in ongoing professional training and development as required by the Attorney-General’s Department on a yearly basis.
